The Oregon Construction Safety Summit (CSS) was founded in 1995 in Portland, Oregon. The CSS is comprised of individuals from various industries with a heart for Construction Safety. Included are representatives from contractors, safety equipment manufacturers and vendors, insurance companies, public local and state agencies, educational institutions, local unions, consultant firms, building owners and construction industry/trade organizations/associations.
The mission of the CSS is to enhance the construction industry’s safety performance in the greater Portland region, by sharing successes and best-known practices toward ensuring the common goal that workers arrive home safely to loved ones each day. To contribute to this noble endeavor and attain a higher level of safety in construction, these basic principles guide the CSS.
The CSS offers a wide variety of services such as:

· Continuing Education Units or Credits for maintaining certifications or organizational requirements
